YPSILANTI, MI (March 10, 2021) — Revchem Composites is extending its relationship with Kalitta Motorsports into the 2021 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series season starting at the 52nd annual NHRA Gatornationals. The multi-time world championship drag racing team will once again be working with Revchem Composites, one of the leading composite distribution companies in the United States, throughout the course of the season on technical opportunities as well as strategic partnerships with their many corporate partners. Additionally, Revchem will be featured on all three Kalitta Motorsports race cars in 2021.
“Even with a shortened season last year we made some great strides working with Revchem Composites and we are looking forward to enhancing that relationship this season even more,” said Chad Head, General Manager Kalitta Motorsports. “Their expertise was invaluable last season and we also made strides in the off-season. They have so many ideas and possibilities for our race teams. We are focusing on connecting them with our existing sponsors as the season progresses. As I said last year when this relationship started, the biggest advantage we see is how well our core values align. Both our organizations are built on increased productivity and excellence.”
Revchem Composites, which is celebrating its 45th anniversary last year, has a wide range of applications and business interests that stretch from aerospace and military applications to movies, marine, surf, and the sports industries. As a family-owned and operated business, Revchem Composites has been an active exhibitor at SEMA and PRI for many years, so the affiliation with Kalitta Motorsports was a natural extension of that history.
“All of us here at Revchem Composites are excited to extend and build upon our valuable relationship with the entire Kalitta Motorsports group as we prepare to embrace the 2021 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Season,” said Pete Pendleton, President of Revchem Composites, Inc. “We immediately felt a tremendous affinity with the entire Kalitta organization regarding culture and our collective passion for racing. We also are excited to continue building outstanding new business to business relationships, both on and off the track with all the other valuable sponsorship partners who support Team Kalitta”.
Last season Kalitta Motorsports used a variety of products distributed by Revchem Composite in their Michigan based shop, and Revchem was branded on Doug Kalitta’s Mac Tools Top Fuel dragster’s rear wing throughout the season. This season they will have a presence on Kalitta’s dragster as well as the DHL/Kalitta Air Top Fuel dragster driven by Shawn Langdon and J.R. Todd’s DHL Toyota Camry Funny Car. Revchem Composites will also be participating in the dynamic business to business pit-side hospitality program Kalitta Motorsports hosts at each NHRA national event.
