Resin infusion products
Toolfusion 3A/ 3B
High temperature infusion resin with low initial cure temperature
Toolfusion 3A/ 3B is a two part low viscosity epoxy infusion resin formulated to produce pre-preg quality, composite molds. Toolfusion 3A/ 3B
has a low initial cure temperature of 120 F (49 C) and can be post cured to achieve a high glass transition temperature of 425 F (218 C). Void
contents of less than 1% are achievable. Toolfusion 3A/ 3B will work in various RTM and VARTM processes including single and double bag
arrangements to produce autoclave quality laminates.
Resin infusion process delivers very high quality laminates with low manufacturing costs, no refrigeration
costs, no autoclave running costs.
Low initial cure temperature for low thermal expansion e ect during curing and ability to use low cost master
model materials.
Nano technology delivers outstanding toughness & high Tg. (425 F or 218 C) for long tool life and reduced life
cycle cost.
Low viscosity allows infusion of thicker and more complex laminates with fewer resin feed lines.
In comparison to metallic tools, Toolfusion 3A /3B composite tools are lighter weight for easier
manual handing.
In comparison to metallic tooling, Toolfusion 3A/ 3B composite tools have faster heat up and cool down
rates for reduced production costs.
Toolfusion 3A/ 3B composite tooling laminates have vacuum integrity for vacuum bag processing of parts in
oven and autoclave.

Description
SikaLastomer
-95 Isobutylene
Tripolymer Tape is a high performance,
tacky elastic butyl tape which is designed
to bond through oily GALVALUME
,
KYNAR 500
, aluminized steel,
ZINCALUME
, galvanized metal,
aluminum, siliconized polyester and
polyvinyl fluoride painted metals, glass,
wood, concrete, fiber-reinforced plastics
(FRP) and similar substrates. Its superior
surface tack affords tenacious adhesion
to these substrates without pre-wiping
the surface even at temperatures as low
as 5
o
F. Where superior tensile strength
and extensibility (webbing/elongation)
are critical, in both hot and cold climates,
use SikaLastomer Isobutylene
Tripolymer Tape rather than general
purpose butyl tapes. SikaLastomer is
formulated without asbestos fillers.
SikaLastomer
-95 contains a special
additive which inhibits a broad spectrum
of microbial activity. SikaLastomer
-95
is manufactured in accordance with ISO
9001 / 14001 quality assurance system
and the responsible care program.
Product Benefits
– Resistance to fungus / Mildew growth
– Almost odorless
– Paintable
– Will not stain painted or unpainted
surfaces
Areas of Application
Specifically developed for sealing critical
Standing Seam Roof (SSR) endlaps and
lap joints for metal building roofs,
skylights, roof curbs, smoke vents, air
conditioning equipment, curtain wall
joints and perimeter areas around
windows and doors. Sealing exterior lap
joints of grain storage bins and sealing
the base to the concrete pad. Designed

Vacuum bagging film
Ideally suited to aerospace applications
Features and Benefits
Soft, co-extruded, ultra high elongation, multi layered
film, produced from a modified polyamide resin.
Easily conformable for complex contoured parts,
formulated to be less affected by environmental
changes and remains flexible in low humidity
conditions.
Recommended as a bagging film for advanced
composite fabrication, when a dependable,
conformable, soft, stretchable bag is required.
Fewer pleats are needed when vacuum bagging
either complex or simple contoured parts, due to its
unique characteristics.
Manufactured using advanced state-of-the-art
blown film technology.
Can be heat seamed to meet any custom shape
requirements.

STORAGE
Stretch-Vac 2000 is hydrophilic material. Moisture and water act as plasticizers. The level of moisture content at time of use
is therefore an important factor for successful performance. The higher the moisture content the more flexible they become.
Conversely at lower moisture levels flexibility is limited.
Do not store rolls vertically on their ends
