C. EXTRA SURFACE OPTION:
CONFORMAT N758XS is produced with an additional SURMAT type veil on one
surface in turn enhancing the surface quality of the finished part. It has the additional
advantage of lowering the process costs by reducing the layers of mat material
handled during pattern cutting or loading of molds by giving you two products in one.
An additional price will apply. The weight of the additional surface product is included
in the weight per square foot (or SQM).
D. PACKAGING
All mats are wound onto (4 ) I.D. (10.2cm) heavy duty cardboard cores. Each roll is
individually contained within a polyethylene sleeve, placed on a 44″ x 45 x 3.5
(11.00cm x 11.25cm x 8.89cm) wooden pallet and stretch wrapped for protection
during shipment. Typically there are four to six (4-6) rolls per skid. Material 36-inch
(91.4cm) wide or less may be double stacked on a skid.
Optional packaging methods are available. Additional charges may apply.
A. Three (3) inch I.D. (7.62cm) heavy duty cardboard core.
B. Cardboard box and skid.
C. Vacuum packaging for 10% space reduction.
D. Cardboard box, vinyl band with stretch wrap on skid.
E. Other methods available upon request.
Each roll is individually marked with product designation, roll number, roll width, roll
length and roll weight.
E. STORAGE
For best performance results, it is recommended that SHC products are stored at
temperatures between 10 C and 35 C at relative humidity below 85%.
SHC Products should remain in the original packaging materials until just prior to use.

Applications
CFM is used in many FRP applications such as pultrusion, high pressure laminating, vacuum
infusion, and several resin injection molding processes (SRIM, RTM, etc.). It is highly suitable for
compression molded electrical and nonelectrical laminates. In infusion processes CFM makes
an unparalleled flow media. Pultruded shapes made with Huntingdon Fiberglass Products
CFM have outstanding transverse and random direction strengths. Typical applications include:
electrical flat sheet, grating and railings, window frames, heavy truck and RV bodies, boat hulls
and transoms, wind turbines, structural beams, etc.
Packaging
Huntingdon Fiberglass Products CFM products are wound on a 4 inch (10.16cm) ID cardboard core.
The resulting rolls are individually wrapped in polyethylene. The pallet is covered with a cap and
stretch-wrapped.
Customer focused Marble melt process offering the
flexibility for custom products and a dedicated workforce
providing a rapid design turn around.

Huntingdon Fiberglass Products Continuous Filament Mat (CFM) is a unique glass fiber reinforcement product used as
an input in the production of flat sheet laminate, marine and automotive parts, as well as other structural products
where its strength and durability make it the most cost-effective material to use. CFM increases the mechanical
performance of products, such as their multi-axial strength and stiffness, as well as their resistance to chemicals.
Product D escription
CFM is made from continuous fiberglass strands randomly looped and bonded
together with different minimal binders that are compatible with a variety of unfilled or
filled resin systems including PE/PV, PE/PU, Phenolic, PU, PU/Epoxy. This mat can be manufactured
in many different areal weights and widths as well as in large or small quantities.
Key F eatures
Flow Media/Porosity offers little resistance to resin flow to allow for easy and
complete resin impregnation, resulting in high line speeds and the ability to infuse larger
parts by using it as the flow media.
Excellent Wet -Out improves the ability to coat individual glass filaments and strands.
High Tensile Strength inherent integrated strength provided by marble melt process;
resists being pulled apart under tension during impregnation and molding in all directions.
Roll Slitting mat rolls can be easily slit into various widths.
Manageable can be unrolled, cut and conveyed to the mold or die without losing
its integrity.

General Datasheet
Gurit Corecell M-10-1119 1
Gurit
Corecell M
THE MARINE FOAM
Replacement for PVC cores
High shear strength combined with low density
High temperature processing (prepreg compatible)
High elongation for toughness
Suitable for all composite processes including prepreg
Benefits from DNV GL, RINA, BV, IRS and ABS certified
INTRODUCTION
Gurit
Corecell M is the newest addition to the Gurit
Corecell range and shares the benefits of SAN chemistry common to all
Gurit
Corecell products.
Environmental stability – High tolerance for heat and chemical exposure
Built in toughness – High ductility and damage tolerance compared to cross-linked PVC and Balsa
Fine cell size – Resin absorption is very low, saving both weight and cost
Superior uniformity – Low density variation
Eliminating outgassing – Gurit
Corecell eliminates the problems of foam outgassing
Compatibility – Suitable for use with all polyester, vinylester and epoxy resins
No inhibition – Gurit
Corecell does not inhibit any epoxy resin curing mechanisms
Handling – Tough and easy to machine
Gurit
Corecell M has been developed to deliver one product for all Marine applications. It provides a combination of high shear
strength with low density, high elongation, high temperature resistance and low resin uptake. Gurit
Corecell M is the perfect
choice whether your application is slamming area or superstructure, hull or deck, using hand lamination, infusion or prepreg.
If looking for reliable processing, Gurit
Corecell M delivers through the benefits recognised in all Gurit
Corecell products of
fine cell size and unique knife-cuts giving low resin uptake in infusion processes. For prepreg, Gurit
Corecell M offers high
temperature resistance to allow shorter cure cycles and the confidence to process without fear of inhibition of prepreg catalysis.
Where static properties are important, Gurit
Corecell M delivers high shear strength at a low density. Where dynamic
performance is crucial, the high elongation delivers higher useful properties and the toughness to give impact resistance and
superior fatigue performance.
Gurit
Corecell M is available in resin infusion format and is compatible with polyester, vinylester and epoxy resin systems. The
low resin absorption characteristics of Gurit
Corecell and it s unique knife cut formats deliver higher performing infusions, low
resin cost and low weight. Gurit s global technical team have 10 years experience in resin infusion, hand lamination and prepreg
processing and offer on-site support and structural engineering for Gurit
Corecell customers. This combination makes Gurit
Corecell a key part of a reliable package.

NOTICE
All advice, instruction or recommendation is given in good faith but the selling Gurit entity (the
Company) only warrants that advice in writing is given with reasonable skill and care. No further
duty or responsibility is accepted by the Company. All advice is given subject to the terms and
conditions of sale (the Conditions) which are available on request from the Company or may be
viewed at Gurit s Website: www.gurit.com/terms-and-conditions.aspx
The Company strongly recommends that Customers make test panels in the final process
conditions and conduct appropriate testing of any goods or materials supplied by the Company
prior to final use to ensure that they are suitable for the Customer s planned application. Such
testing should include testing under conditions as close as possible to those to which the final
component may be subjected. The Company specifically excludes any warranty of fitness for
purpose of the goods other than as set out in writing by the Company. Due to the varied nature of
end-use applications, the Company does, in particular, not warrant that the test panels in the final
process conditions and/or the final component pass any fire standards.
The Company reserves the right to change specifications and prices without notice and Customers
should satisfy themselves that information relied on by the Customer is that which is currently
published by the Company on its website. Any queries may be addressed to the Technical
Services Department.
Gurit is continuously reviewing and updating literature. Please ensure that you have the current
