EYE CONTACT: If chemical contacts the eyes, open victim s eyes while under gentle running water. Use sufficient force to open eyelids. Have victim roll eyes. Minimum flushing is for 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if worn. Seek medical attention.
SKIN CONTACT: Wash contacted area with soap and water. Remove exposed or contaminated clothing, taking care not to contaminate eyes. Seek medical attention if irritation develops and persists.
INHALATION: If chemical is inhaled, or breathing is difficult, remove victim to fresh air. If necessary, use artificial respiration to support vital functions. Seek medical attention.
INGESTION:
If chemical is swallowed, call physician or poison control center for most current information. If professional advice is not available, do not induce vomiting. Never induce vomiting or give diluents (milk or water) to someone who is unconscious, having convulsions, or who cannot swallow. Victims of chemical exposure must be taken for medical attention. Rescuers should be taken for medical attention, if necessary. Take a copy of the label and MSDS with the victim to the health professional.

VENTILATION AND ENGINEERING CONTROLS: Use with adequate ventilation to ensure exposure levels are maintained
below the established limits.
Currently, International exposure limits are not established for all the components of this product. Please check with

3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
THE HEALTH EFFECTS NOTED BELOW ARE CONSIS TENT WITH REQUIREMENT UNDER THE OSHA
COMMUNICATION STANDARD (29 CFR 1910.1200)
Potential effects of health:
INHALATION (BREATHING): N/A because it is a Paste Product.
EYE CONTACT: Product is minimally irritating to the eyes.
CONTACT OF THE SKIN: Prolonged or repeated contact may result in de-fatting and drying of the skin.
INGESTION: Ingestion of product may result in vomiting; aspiration (breathing) of vomitus into the lungs must
be avoided as even small quantities may result in aspiration pneumonitis.
GENERAL ADVISE: In case of accident or if you feel sick from exposure, seek medical attention immediately
(Show the label to physician if possible).
4. FIRST AID MEASURES
EYE CONTACT: Flush eyes with plenty of water for 15 minutes while holding eyelids open. Get medical
Attention immediately.
SKIN CONTACT: Remove contaminated clothing and wipe excess form skin. Prolonged or repeated contact
may result in de-fatting and dry of the skin. Wash with soap and water. If irritation occurs, get medical
attention.
INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting or give anything by mouth. If vomiting occurs spontaneously, keep head
below hips to prevent aspiration. This material can enter the lungs and cause damage. If victim is drowsy or
unconscious, place on left side with head down. Get medical attention.

5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS: Containers exposed to intense heat from fires should be cooled with
water to prevent vapor pressure buildup which could result in container rupture.

First-aid measures general : Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If you feel unwell, seek
medical advice (show the label where possible).
First-aid measures after inhalation : When symptoms occur: go into open air and ventilate suspected area. Obtain
medical attention if breathing difficulty persists.
First-aid measures after skin contact : Immediately drench affected area with water for at least 15 minutes. Immediately
remove contaminated clothing. Obtain medical attention if irritation develops or
persists.
First-aid measures after eye contact : Immediately rinse with water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if
present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Obtain medical attention if irritation

prolonged skin contact may cause dermatitis and defatting.
Symptoms/effects after eye contact : Contact causes severe irritation with redness and swelling of the conjunctiva.

injury.

SECTION 5: Firefighting measures
5.1. Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media : Dry chemical powder, alcohol-resistant foam, carbon dioxide (CO2). Water may be
ineffective but water should be used to keep fire-exposed container cool.
Unsuitable extinguishing media : Do not use a heavy water stream. A heavy water stream may spread burning
liquid.
5.2. Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Fire hazard : Flammable liquid and vapour.
Explosion hazard : May form flammable or explosive vapour-air mixture. Vapours are heavier than air
and may travel considerable distance to an ignition source and flash back to source
of vapours.
Reactivity : Reacts violently with strong oxidisers. Increased risk of fire or explosion.
Hazardous decomposition products in
case of fire
: Carbon oxides (CO, CO2). Nitrogen oxides. Sulfur compounds. Hydrocarbons.

Precautionary measures fire : Exercise caution when fighting any chemical fire.

4.1. Description of first aid measures
First-aid measures general : Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If you feel unwell, seek
medical advice (show the label where possible).
First-aid measures after inhalation : When symptoms occur: go into open air and ventilate suspected area. Obtain
medical attention if breathing difficulty persists.
First-aid measures after skin contact : Immediately drench affected area with water for at least 15 minutes. Immediately
remove contaminated clothing. Obtain medical attention if irritation develops or
persists.
First-aid measures after eye contact : Immediately rinse with water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if

prolonged skin contact may cause dermatitis and defatting.
Symptoms/effects after eye contact : Contact causes severe irritation with redness and swelling of the conjunctiva.
Symptoms/effects after ingestion : Aspiration into the lungs can occur during ingestion or vomiting and may cause lung
injury.

SECTION 5: Firefighting measures
5.1. Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media : Dry chemical powder, alcohol-resistant foam, carbon dioxide (CO2). Water may be
ineffective but water should be used to keep fire-exposed container cool.
Unsuitable extinguishing media : Do not use a heavy water stream. A heavy water stream may spread burning
liquid.
5.2. Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Fire hazard : Flammable liquid and vapour.
Explosion hazard : May form flammable or explosive vapour-air mixture. Vapours are heavier than air
and may travel considerable distance to an ignition source and flash back to source
of vapours.
Reactivity : Reacts violently with strong oxidisers. Increased risk of fire or explosion.
Hazardous decomposition products in
case of fire
: Carbon oxides (CO, CO2). Nitrogen oxides. Sulfur compounds. Hydrocarbons.

5.3. Advice for firefighters
Precautionary measures fire : Exercise caution when fighting any chemical fire.
Firefighting instructions : Use water spray or fog for cooling exposed containers. In case of major fire and
large quantities: Evacuate area. Fight fire remotely due to the risk of explosion. Do
not breathe fumes from fires or vapours from decomposition.
Protection during firefighting : Do not enter fire area without proper protective equipment, including respiratory

6.1. Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures

For containment : Contain any spills with dikes or absorbents to prevent migration and entry into

Potential Health Effects
Acute Effects (Short Term):
Eye: Contact with liquid or vapor may result in irritation, redness, tearing,
and blurred vision.
Skin: May cause mild skin irritation. Prolonged or repeated contact may
dry the skin. Symptoms may include redness, burning, drying and
cracking of skin, and skin burns.
Swallowing: Ingestion of this material may cause gastrointestinal irritation,
nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting. Aspiration of this material into the
lungs due to vomiting may produce chemical pneumonitis which
can be fatal.

Inhalation: Excessive inhalation of vapors may cause nasal and respiratory
irritation, acute nervous system depression, fatigue, weakness,
nausea, headache, and dizziness. Symptoms usually occur at air
concentrations higher than the recommended exposure limits (See
Section 8).
Chronic Effects of Overexposure (Long Term):
Styrene: Excessive overexposure to styrene has been found to cause the
following effects in humans and may aggravate pre-existing
disorders of these organs; central nervous system effects, effects
on hearing, mild effects on color vision and respiratory tract
damage.
Cancer Information: The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has
classified styrene as a group 2B carcinogen (possibly carcinogenic to humans).
This classification is not based on evidence that styrene may be carcinogenic,
but rather on a revised definition for Group 2B, and consideration of new data on
styrene oxide(Group 2A). Titanium Dioxide is listed by IARC as possibly
carcinogenic to humans (Group 2B). This listing is based on inadequate
evidence of carcinogenicity in humans and sufficient evidence in experimental
animals. This material may contain trace amounts of chemicals considered to be
carcinogenic by OSHA, (1,3- Butadiene-IARC Group 2A).
Other Health Effects: NOTICE: Reports have associated repeated and prolonged
occupational overexposure to solvents with permanent brain and nervous system
damage. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling the
contents may be harmful or fatal.
Primary Route(s) of Entry: Inhalation, Skin contact, Eye contact, Ingestion,
Skin absorption.
SECTION 4. FIRST AID MEASURES
Eyes: Flush eyes gently with water for at least 15 minutes. Seek
immediate medical attention.
Skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash exposed area with soap and
water. If symptoms persist, seek medical attention. Launder
clothing before reuse.
Swallowing: Consult a physician or poison control center immediately. DO NOT
INDUCE VOMITING. If individual is drowsy or unconscious, do not
give anything by mouth; place individual on the left side with the
head down. If possible, do not leave individual unattended.

Inhalation: If symptoms develop, immediately move individual away from
exposure and into fresh air. Seek immediate medical attention;
keep person warm and quiet. If person is not breathing, begin
artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, oxygen may be benificial
if administered by trained personnel.

Hazardous Products of Combustion: May form: carbon dioxide, carbon
monoxide, styrene oxide, and various hydrocarbons.
Fire and Explosion Hazards: Vapors are heavier than air and may travel along
the ground or may be moved by ventilation and ignited by pilot lights,
other flames, sparks, heaters, smoking, electric motors, static discharge,
or other ignition sources at locations distant from material handling point.
Extinguishing Media: Regular foam, carbon dioxide, dry chemical.
Fire Fighting Instructions: Water may be used to keep fire-exposed containers
cool until fire is out. Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus NIOSH
approved with a full facepiece operated in the positive pressure demand
mode with appropriate turn-out gear and chemical resistant personal
protective equipment.

SECTION 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
In Case of Spill: Eliminate all sources of ignition such as flares, flames (including
pilot lights), and electrical sparks. Ventilate the area. Wear proper protective
equipment (Section 8). Avoid breathing vapors. Collect with an inert absorbant
and dispose of properly.
SECTION 7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
Handling: All hazard precautions given in the data sheet must be observed. Avoid
contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling.

Storage: Store material in a cool, well-ventilated area. For maximum product
quality, avoid prolonged storage at temperatures above 75 F (25 C). Do not use or
store near heat, sparks, or open flame. Keep container tightly closed. Avoid contact with
incompatible materials.
SECTION 8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION
Eye Protection: Chemical splash goggles in compliance with OSHA regulations are
recommended.
Skin Protection: Protective gloves and proper clothing should be worn to prevent
skin contact. Gloves should be made of neoprene or natural
rubber. To prevent repeated or prolonged skin contact, wear
impervious clothing and boots.
Respiratory Protection: Use a NIOSH approved respirator designed to remove
particulate matter and organic solvent vapors.
Engineering Controls: Provide sufficient mechanical (general and/or local exhaust)
ventilation to maintain exposure below acceptable limits.
Explosion-proof ventilation system is acceptable.
