FR01-B0107B-HM
Gray Fire Retardant Gel Coat
Technical Data Sheet

Application: Intumescent fire retardant gel coats have poor water resistance and must not be used for applications where
continuous exposure to water is required. FR01-B0107B-HM is formulated for spraying as supplied. It is strongly
recommended that the material be mixed before each use due to a rapid viscosity build-up. Optimum application temperature
is 65 F – 90 F (18 C – 32 C). Apply in several thin, overlapping passes rather than a single heavier coat; this will help to avoid
porosity, solvent entrapment, and sagging. The recommended wet film thickness is 18 – 22 mils (0.45 – 0.56 mm) wet.

Storage and Handling: FR01-B0107B-HM should be stored in closed, opaque containers at temperatures above 40 F (4 C)
but not exceeding 77 F (25 C). Do not keep gel coats near catalyst storage areas. To avoid decomposition keep away from
direct sunlight and excess heat. Refer to the Safety Data Sheet for further details on safety and storage.
