Product Description
ELFOAM P200 is a 2.0 lb/ft
3
(32 kg/m
3
), rigid, unfaced,
closed cell polyisocyanurate foam supplied as blocks,
sheets and fabricated shapes for a variety of insulation, core
material and carving applications. Polyisocyanurate foam
(polyiso) is similar to polyurethane foam but offers greater
dimensional stability over a wider service temperature range.
ELFOAM P200 is manufactured in bunstock form 26 (66cm)
thick; 48 (122cm) wide; and 72 , 96 , 108 , 120 , and
144 (183cm, 244cm, 274cm, 305cm, and 396cm) long.
Cut sheets are offered in thicknesses from 1/8 to 12 (.32cm
to 30cm) in 1/32 (.08cm) increments. Custom sizes and
fabricated parts up to 26 (66cm) thick, 48 (122cm) wide and
192 (488cm) in length are available for customers wanting
to eliminate in-house cutting, handling, and scrap disposal.
Contact the Indianapolis Sales Office for additional information.
Design Considerations
ELFOAM P200 is designed for use in environments where
temperatures range from -297 to +300 F (-183 to +149 C).
However, in non-laminated applications where temperatures
exceed 140 F (60 C) and/or have relative humidity above 70%
as well as in processes where frequent and severe thermal
cycling occurs, allowances for foam dimensional
changes may need to be incorporated into engineering
design. Regardless of operating conditions, a qualified
design engineer should review all foam applications.
ELFOAM, like all cellular plastics, will degrade with
prolonged exposure to sunlight. To prevent such degradation,
foam materials should be covered. Other barriers to protect
exposed foam surfaces from the elements and to meet
applicable fire and safety regulations may also be required.
Environmental Data
ELFOAM P200 is specifically formulated to provide
excellent physical properties without the use of
chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) or hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC)
blowing agents. In compliance with the Montreal
Protocol and the Clean Air Act, ELFOAM P200 is
manufactured with hydrocarbon blowing agents which
have no ozone depletion or global warming potential.
Applications
Typical products incorporating ELFOAM P200 include:
Refrigerated food service equipment
Laminated wall and roof panels
Commercial and industrial doors
FRP panels, tanks and shelters
Truck/Trailer bodies, shipping containers and railcars
Pipe, tank and vessel insulation
Plugs, patterns and carved products
Note that application testing is often required to
determine suitability of the foam for a specific
application. Potential users should perform pertinent
testing to determine the suitability of the product for the
intended application. Final determination of fitness of the
product for any particular use is the responsibility of the buyer.
Compliances and Approvals
EELFOAM P200 meets industry standards, specifications,
regulations and technical guidelines put forth by numerous
commercial, federal and military entities including ASTM
International, Underwriters Laboratories, and the US
Departments of Transportation and Defense. Contact
the Indianapolis Sales Office for additional information.
Safety
All persons who work with ELFOAM products should
follow proper handling procedures. The ELFOAM
Safety Data Sheet (SDS) contains information about
proper handling, storage and use of this material. A copy

TRYMER
4000
POLYISOCYANURATE FOAM INSULATION
DESCRIPTION
Trymer 4000 insulation is a polyurethane modified
polyisocyanurate cellular material. The rigid insulation is
supplied in the of bunstock for fabrication into sheets, pipe
shells, tank and vessel coverings, and other shapes for a
variety of thermal insulation applications. Trymer 4000 insulation
features improved dimensional stability over a wider range of
temperatures than standard polyurethane insulation. Trymer
insulation is not a known nutrient source for mold and mildew.
APPLICATIONS
Trymer 4000 insulation is used extensively in industrial and
commercial applications with moderate density/strength
requirements, within the service temperature range* of -297 F
to +300 F (-183 C to +149 C). Typical applications for Trymer 4000
insulation include:
Fabricated pipe insulation, including elbows and fittings
Core material for factory built panelized constructions
Pipe hangers, saddles and supports

AVAILABILITY
Trymer 4000 insulation is distributed through JM s extensive
Authorized Fabricator Network.
INSTALLATION
Trymer 4000 insulation is easy to fabricate into various shapes
to meet specific design needs. However, because of the critical
technical design aspects of many of its applications, JM
recommends that qualified designers or consultants design the
total system.
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Trymer 4000 insulation exhibits the properties and
characteristics indicated in Table 1 when tested as represented.
Consultation with local building code officials, and design
engineers/specifiers is recommended before application. Like
all cellular plastics, this product will degrade upon prolonged
exposure to sunlight. A covering to block ultraviolet radiation
must be used to prevent this degradation.
ENVIRONMENTAL DATA
Trymer 4000 insulation is specifically formulated to provide
excellent thermal insulation properties without the use of
chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) or hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC)
blowing agents. In compliance with the Montreal Protocol and
the Clean Air Act, Trymer 4000 insulation is manufactured with
hydrocarbon blowing agents, which have no ozone depletion
potential..
SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS
Trymer 4000 insulation requires care in handling. All persons
working with this material must know and follow the proper
handling procedures. The current Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and
General Handling Recommendations for Trymer contain informa-
tion on the safe handling, storage and use of this material, and
can be found at www.jm.com.

(1) All properties are measured at 74 (23 C), unless otherwise indicated.
(2) Unless otherwise indicated, data shown are typical values obtained from representative production samples. This data may be used as a guide for design purposes but should not be
construed as specifications. For property ranges and specifications, consult your JM representative.
(3) Average value through insulation cross section
(4) R means resistance to heat flow. The higher the R-value, the greater the insulating power.
(5) Frequent and severe thermal cycling can produce dimensional changes significantly greater than those stated here. Special design consideration must be made in systems that cycle
frequently.
(6) Above 300 F, discoloration and charring will occur, resulting in an increased k-factor in the discolored area.
(7) Trymer PIR can be used at temperatures below this but certain system design precautions may be necessary. Please consult JM for more information.
(8) This numerical flame spread data is not intended to reflect hazards presented by this or any other material under actual fire conditions.
